Playa del Carmen Summer Camps 2019
Once again, we are putting together a listing of camps and programs (cursos de verano) for children in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya for the summer of 2019. These are the programs and summer camps that we have found for kids living in Playa del Carmen and all across the Riviera Maya. There are some exciting programs this year for children of all ages, both day programs and sleep over camps. Whether your children are interested in sports, nature, the arts or even a traditional sleep-over camp experience, there are a variety of options to choose from.
We'll be updating this post with new summer programs as they are announced. Here’s the list of the ones we have found so far:
Agua Azul Bilingual Camp
Dates: July 10, 2019 to August 11, 2019
Ages: 6–15 years
Location: near Nuevo Valladolid

This summer camp is located just about 1.5 hours from Playa del Carmen near Nuevo Valladolid. Children ages 6–15 will spend a few days or weeks (your choice how long) sleeping in tents, surrounded by lush jungle and mystical cenotes. Campers will learn about the environment they live in and enjoy all sorts of games and activities including swimming in cenotes, kayak races, water zip-lines, campfires, foam wars, obstacle courses, competitions and all the fun you would expect from a true summer camp. Adult counselors and lifeguards with paramedic training will be onsite at all times. Transportation to and from Cancun, lodging, meals, accident insurance and all onsite activities are included. Club Hipico Horseback Riding Day Camp
Dates: July 15, 2019 to July 26, 2019
Time: 8:30 am–12 pm (Monday to Friday)
Location: Hipico Riviera Maya, Paamul
Cost: $1,200 pesos per camper per week
Boys and girls will spend their mornings at the Hipico Riviera Maya learning all about horses; how to feed and care for the animals and their tack. Riding instruction daily for beginning and intermediate riders. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your children to horses, animal care, stable maintenance and riding in a safe and fun environment under the supervision of experienced equestrians. Summer Ronda Course
Dates: July 1, 2019 to August 2, 2019
Ages: 3–5 years and 6–10 years

"SUMMER ROUND" by La Ronda Music School is for enjoying the summer. A space that inspires stories, games, songs, and above all, an invitation to let the imagination fly. Get to know different characters and go through the magical and real scenes that the stories of this special period propose. Activities include manual, artistic activities, games with water and many songs to sing and dance. All materials are included. Harmon Hall English Course

Ages: Kids 6–10 years and Pre-teens/teens 11–14 years

Baaxlo'ob Paalalo'ob
Dates: July 8, 2019 to August 2, 2019
Ages: Kids 6–13 years
Location: Unidades Deportivas Poliforum, Puerto Aventuras, Luis D. Colosio, Riviera Maya, Villas del Sol and Mario Villanueva
Cost: $400 pesos

Kiin Ha Day Camp
Dates: July 1, 2019 to August 16, 2019
Time: 9:00 am–1:30 pm

Summer Day Camp at Hotel Sirenis
Dates: July 8, 2019 to August 27, 2019
Ages: 4–6 years
Time: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
Location: Hotel Sirenis Residencial Plaza Xaak 109
Cost: $1,000 pesos per week or $3,500 pesos per month
This day camp is run by a certified teacher with 15 years of experience and an advanced degree in sociology. There will be different activities every day and week, including arts and crafts, sports, cooking, science, swimming, and games. For more info or to sign up, call (984) 188-6678.
Nohoch Surf Summer Camp

Nohoch SURF is founded on the concept of building strength and courage through promoting mindfulness and healthy lifestyle choices. Dance Club Playa Dance Camp

The Jungla Summer Camp
