Playa del Carmen Summer Camps 2018
Once again, we are putting together a listing of camps and programs (cursos de verano) for children in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya for the summer of 2018. These are the programs and summer camps that we have found so far for kids living in Playa del Carmen and all across the Riviera Maya. There are some exciting new programs this year for children of all ages, both day programs and sleep over camps. Whether your children are interested in sports, nature, the arts or even a traditional sleep-over camp experience, there are a variety of options to choose from.
Agua Azul Bilingual Camp
Dates: July 9- August 5, 2018
Ages: 6-15 years
Location: near Nuevo Valladolid
Cost: $7,800mn per week
This summer camp is located just about 1.5 hours from Playa del Carmen near Nuevo Valladolid. Children and teens will spend 1 to 4 weeks sleeping in tents, surrounded by lush jungle and mystical cenotes. Campers will learn about the environment they live in and enjoy all sorts of games and activities including swimming in cenotes, kayak races, water zip-lines, campfires, foam wars, obstacle courses, competitions and all the fun you would expect from a true summer camp. Adult counselors and lifeguards with paramedic training will be onsite at all times. Cost includes transportation to and from Cancun, lodging, meals, accident insurance and all onsite activities. Azul Maya Summer Camp
Dates: July 16- August 3, 2018
Ages: 8-14 years
Location: Bacalar, Quintana Roo
Cost: $ 1,800mn per week
Camp Azul Maya is located just about 2 hours from Playa del Carmen on Laguna Bacalar. Children and teens will sleep in eco-cabins on the shores of Bacalar, the lake of seven colors, surrounded by nature. Summer Camp Azul Maya combines various elements that make this an unforgettable life experience where your children will learn, live together with nature and have a great time! Activities include swimming in cenotes, SUP, yoga, kayaking, zip-lines, hiking, climbing/rappelling, visits to archeological sites, campfires and all the fun you would expect from a great summer camp experience. Onsite counselors are trained in biology, nutrition, conservation, ecology and the unique history and culture of the region. Medical/first aid care will be available 24/7. Summer Ronda Course
Dates: July 2 – August 3, 2018
Ages: 2 - 6 years
Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Location: La Ronda Music School, Av. 60 between Calle 44 & 42, El Pedregal
Cost: $300mn per day or $1,000mn per week (discounts for additional weeks)
"SUMMER ROUND" by La Ronda Music School is for enjoying the holidays. A space that inspires stories, games, songs, and above all, an invitation to let the imagination fly.
Get to know different characters and go through the magical and real scenes that the stories of this special period propose. Activities include manual, artistic activities, games with water and many songs to sing and dance. All materials are included, limited space, required with the payment of 50% in advance. Kiin Ha Day Camp

Dance Club Playa Dance Camp
Dates: August 6 - August 10, 2018
Ages: Kids 5-11 years, teens and adults
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for children & 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for teens and adults

Dance Club Playa offers an intensive course of urban styles! In the morning children 5-11 years (9 am-12pm) and teens and adults in the afternoon (1 pm-4pm). Sayab Planetarium Day Camp

Hola! I just wanted to let you know about 2 other summer camps. My kids are going to summer camp now at EMMA Escuela in Playacar and will also go to Colegio Ingles for two week. I highly recommend both! Both have flyers is you go to their websites and both are about $1000 pesos a week. Gracias!
