A Great Way to Discover Local Artisans, Artists and Products of the Riviera Maya Mexicool, a Unique Bazar Combining Local Products and Art!

Playa del Carmen is not only one of the most visited cities in the world for its white sand beaches and turquoise sea, it's also the home of incredibly talented artisans looking to promote products "Made in the Riviera Maya". We often hear tourists ask where they can buy local products, find local art and support the local economy, and Mexicool is an authentic bazaar that brings all of these together.

On July 3rd at Hotel Lat20 (5th Avenue between 30th and 32nd Street), tourists and local residents of Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya are invited to discover local talent and purchase authentic artwork, crafts and products made in our very own Mexican community.

This cultural bazaar with interactive activities for children, youth and adults from the local and tourist community of Playa del Carmen, will combine exhibitions and sale of Mexican products with the participation of artists from all over the state of Quintana Roo.

Press conference held at Hotel Lat20 to launch the upcoming event.

Jacobo Roa will be performing at Lat20 hotel on July 3rd

The mission of Mexicool is to promote the sale of Mexican products as well as local culture. This way, an artistic platform is created for local partnerships to strengthen the artistic community that keeps growing every day in our city, and in our state. This unique bazaar located right downtown Playa del Carmen, in the heart of the city is a perfect way to discover (as a tourist or as a local resident) local talent and support Riviera Maya's art, artists, artisanal handcrafts and products locally made. One of the many missions ay BuyPlaya, is to support local goods produced regionally. Don't miss this incredible event, we certainly wont!
