The Gallery Condos Coming to Playa del Carmen
A new kind of condo concept is coming soon to Playa del Carmen, and here at BuyPlaya Real Estate Advisors we are pretty excited about it!
On August 12, 2016, we were invited to the official presentation of the new The Gallery Condos in Downtown Playa del Carmen, with the placing of the first stone as the highlight of the big event.
Immediately we were blown away by the atmosphere, where the construction site had been decked out for an elegant real estate event for over 600 guests, all hosted by GMB (Gama Master Broker) and Habitania. Gorgeous lighting and white tents set the mood for a fashionable evening, reminiscent of the sleek design that will be used in the condos once they are complete. We even got to enjoy with live saxophone and violin music, plus see The Gallery’s two main artists Jobacasen and Reyna Castaño decorating a scooter by Italian sponsor Vespa.
After we all had a few drinks and hors d’oeuvres, the focus shifted to the stage, where the CEOs and owners of GMB and Habitania gave the main presentation for the project and touched on the importance of being part of AMPI (Mexico’s Association of Real Estate Professionals). Then, Marc Pujol, CEO of GMB, encouraged us all to donate to “El amor te elige a ti” (Love Chooses You”), a private institution that helps children with disabilities.
To cap off the evening, the entire real estate crowd looked on as our hosts unveiled the first stone for The Gallery Condos and placed it, with beautiful fireworks in the sky above the ground being broken.
This new development has a wonderful and central Playa del Carmen location at the corner of 15th Avenue and Constituyentes, setting it just two blocks from exciting 5th Avenue and four blocks from the beach.
